Collective Purchasing

BOCES Colorado Food Cooperative is the foodservice cooperative program of Food and Supplies — and Food Service Software.  Current contracted vendors are Shamrock Foods Company and Linq. This contract is for CBOCES members use only.

CBA compiles collective purchasing volume from all members and includes this volume in our solicitations. Our combined quantity equates to competitive, stable pricing.

Since 2012, CBA Food Cooperative has been growing and changing to meet the needs of our members. We are proud of the quality of our contracts, food service training and technical assistance and the value they offer. The service we provide in providing these contracts is the foundation of our success.

2024 Agenda Topics:

Civil Rights – Annual mandatory Civil rights training.  1 hour

Food Safety – Local health departments will discuss upcoming trends and violations they may see in school districts. 1 hour

Food Buying Guide – Come to a hands-on learning for the food buying guide.  Learn how this resource will become a common tool in your kitchen.  2 hours

Production Records – In this session, you will build menus with your team, transfer the menus to a production record, preplan and then “pretend” prepare and finish the production record for the day.  2 hours

Standardized Recipe – As a group, you will bring a recipe that is not standardized that you use for menus and learn how to properly standardize that recipe for consistency and proper administrative review documentation.  1 hour
